In December 2019, Green Lancang-Mekong Initiative: Strategic Dialogue on Lancang-Mekong Cooperation Green Economic Development Belt was held in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province. Participants shared topics such as promoting green development policies of Lancang-Mekong Countries in the Green Economic Development Belt, and agreed on promoting multi-party participation and promoting cooperation on green development of regional industrial parks in the future.
