In November 2019, Green Lancang-Mekong Initiative-Capacity Building on Ecological Remote Sensing in Lancang-Mekong Countries was held in Wuhan, Hubei Province. The event shared remote sensing technologies and research results, and conducted exchanges and discussions on the analysis of spatio-temporal characteristics of land cover change, aiming to enhance the collection, processing and analysis capacity of remote sensing information of ecological environment in Lancang-Mekong Countries as well as jointly contribute to the implementation of the United Nations 2030 Sustainable Development Goals.
